It has been well documented that the 100 Series Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX470 lower control arms are subject to cracking at the inner mounting hole for the torsion bar "torque arm" bolts. This can easily be prevented by adding reinforcement brackets to the LCAs.

Vehicles with significant additional weight or added pre-load (such as re-indexing) are recommended to add lower control arm reinforcement brackets to prevent damage to the LCAs.

Version 3.3 now increases the strength of the lower control arms even more while also retaining an easy, bolt-on design for a reversible, straight forward installation process. Anyone who purchased prior versions of our LCA reinforcement brackets is welcome to an upgrade, free of charge. Simply reach out to us for details.

The Cruiser Patch LCA reinforcement brackets for the 100 Series Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX470 are the highest clearance option on the market as well as the only bolt-on design available.

Installation tips:

• Our lower control arm reinforcement brackets for the 100 Series Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX470 do NOT require any drilling, welding* or fabrication work to be mounted securely to the LCAs.
• Simply unbolt the torsion bar "torque arm" and slide the bracket into position. 
• Push the bracket up as close to the control arm as possible for minimal gap.
• Reassemble and torque 22mm nuts to 166 ft-lbs.
• *welding the reinforcement brackets to the LCAs will strengthen the arms even further, however this is not required
