The adjustable camber slide on the SPCs has often posed a problem for heavy off-road builds such as Patch has demonstrated in this YouTube video.

The Specialty Products Company upper ball joints do not stay in place even when using the appropriate torque specifications (200 ft-lbs. for most recent UBJ design). Because of this, Patch created a lockout kit for those who intend to use their SPC control arms in harsh conditions with extreme forces at play.

Designed to fit the 25455 SPC aftermarket upper control arms for the 100 Series Toyota Land Cruiser. These UCAs now use the 35102 ball joints which are sealed, maintenance free, but still fully adjustable.
